How to Get an American Express Black Card

You have a credit card but it has so many limitations and you just don’t want to be limited with your credit card. You might want to focus your attention on American Express Black Card. This credit card has unlimited advantages and perks. Many people only dream of having this credit card and was once given only by invitation. Just recently, American Express Black card has given the general public the opportunity to have one if you can qualify to own one.

Step 1

Work hard. You want to qualify for an American Express Black Card; you should be able to comply with the income requirements. American Express requires you to have at least $250,000 as your annual income. That is not the only factor that they will check, you should also have a great credit card history and that you should have significant financial assets. You might have won the lottery and landed with a lot of cash, but if you have a terrible credit history; you might want to rethink about dreaming of an American Express Black Card.

Step 2

American Express Black Cards are also given to famous celebrities, athletes and public figures. If you are one, then American Express can waive or slacken some of the strict requirements.

Step 3

Be brave! You haven’t received an invitation from American Express and you think that you are qualified or over qualified to get an American Express Black Card then you should try to apply. Arm yourself with proof that you are qualified and you can try calling them or visiting them.

Step 4

Be ready to pay their one time initiation fee which is $5,000. You should also be able to pay the credit card’s annual fee.

Step 5

American Express will assign a special direct phone number to each cardholder and a personal concierge. This will allow you to have access to very popular and overbooked restaurants, clubs and shows. Enjoy the privilege that Black Card offers you.

Step 6

Change of lifestyle - The American Express Black Card will have many privileges and perks that you may not have had before you got the card. Be careful about losing your card. If you lose it, you can always call American Express and tell them that you lost your credit card. Your old credit card will be canceled and you will be issued with a new card. If you have a Black Card, you will immediately gain access to exclusive stores, hotels and restaurants. They will even send somebody to assist you while you shop. Unlike normal warranties that usually last for one year, you will get an extended warranty period. You will receive first class treatment if you check in hotels and fly in airplanes when you use your Black card. They will treat you like a celebrity and make your life easier.

Step 7

While you change your lifestyle, make sure that you will continue to abide by their terms & conditions. It is understandable why American Express sets up such rigid requirements for their Black card. When the time to pay your statement comes, don’t grumble, the Black Card allowed you to be treated like a king, and thus the expense fees that come with the card.
