Whenever you attempt to buy something online, look for a “coupon code” or “discount code” box at the checkout or cart page. Many online stores will offer deals or special offers to e-mail subscribers and other people at any given time. Every time you see the “discount code” box, open a new tab on your internet explorer or firefox web page and type “(name of the store) coupon code” and you’ll most likely find a code that can save you some money or maybe free shipping. I’ve tried this 4 times so far and it has worked twice.
I’ve saved 50% on my online tax submission with H&R block and I’ve saved 10% on an engagement ring for my girlfriend (soon to be fiancé). It only takes a minute to do and it can save you hundreds.

Great idea. I would have actually never thought to Google for codes.

P.S. CONGRATS on the engagement.
