I try very hard to save money for the difficult times and for my old age. I do not like to spend extra money for anything and try to be as economical as possible. But there are certain things which I know I will never compromise on and never do to save money.
Some of those things are:
- I will never buy used clothes or used shoes for my children. Every individual has different feet and it is never recommended to wear shoes of anyone as it can be very uncomfortable.
- I use a lot of aluminum foil every day for packing lunch, wrapping raw chicken etc, but I cannot use it again to wrap something else in the same foil. I always prefer to use fresh foil.
- The food items present in the dollar store are not very healthy according to me. I prefer to buy food items from proper grocery stores even if I have to pay a little extra there.
- I will never let my dog eat anything unhealthy from anywhere just because the dog food is expensive and I want to save money.
- When I go to the restaurant, I will never swipe away the small packets of salt, pepper or ketchup that are present on the table. It can cause a lot of humiliation if someone sees me swiping the packets.
- I will never use old newspapers instead of buying toilet rolls. This option can save quite a lot of money in the long run but I wonder how hygienic it is. Hygiene is one thing that is very important for me and my family.
- I will never fool my friends and relatives by saying that I will not be at home on Christmas. Getting gifts can be expensive but it is a tradition I will not like to break and the joy it gives is immense.
- I will not compromise on the weekend outings of my children. I may not take them to the most expensive restaurants, but will surely take them out for an ice cream or a sandwich as it is important for them to get a break once a week.
- I will not compromise on the quality of my sanitary napkins. The good ones come a little expensive but save me from a lot of embarrassment that would have been caused due to a stain on my clothes because of a low quality napkin.
- I will not pick up coins from the roads to become rich. I will probably leave it for someone who needs it more than me.
So there have it, these are the 10 things I would never do in order to save money because to me these things are worth buying and doing at full price.
