BioDiesel
Biodiesel is simply a blend of diesel fuel and vegetable oil. The great thing about biodiesel is that all diesels can use it without any modifications. If you do use biodiesel, you will have to change the oil filter more often than just plain diesel.
Pros
1) Lower emissions: The higher the concentration of vegetable oil, the better for your emissions.
2) Mileage: You will get more mileage using biodiesel than with gasoline.
3) Versatility: You have the ability to use biodiesel or regular diesel for the same vehicle.
4) Longevity: Biodiesel is a better lubricant compared to regular diesel. This allows your engine to last longer.
5) Safety: Biodiesel is less combustible than gasoline, which makes it safer
to store and transport
Cons
1) Cost: Although you might save on mileage, the typical diesel is more expensive and the price of diesel is now more expensive.
2) Cold weather: In colder weather, biodiesel becomes glutinous if the tank gets too cold.
3) Convenience: Your local gasoline station might not have it.
4) Limited Choice: Right now gasoline vehicles outnumber diesel vehicles by a huge number. You have less of a selection when buying a car.
