What is Kijiji.Com?

Kijiji.com is the next big classified site brought to you by Ebay. It allows individuals to post items up for sale for all to see. Kijiji has a very easy to use platform allowing you to register and post items quickly. It was created to compete with Craiglist and other large classified sites. Kijiji is not worldwide yet, but luckily U.S citizens can use it for person to person selling.

How do I Register and Use it?

The first thing you have to do is pick your locality at the Kijiji.com website. You’ll be brought to the homepage in which you’ll have four ways of picking your location. You can either choose your location by postal code, by clicking on your state on the U.S Map, by clicking on the scroll down bar on the right side or by choosing you city with the help of the alphabetized states under the U.S map.

Once you’ve picked your local city, you can register by clicking on the register link at the top right of your page. Now you do not have to register in order to post an ad. I registered because it allows me to keep track of my ads.

To post an Ad, click on the “Post Ad” tab at the top of your screen. Posting an Ad is pretty straight forward. If you have anymore questions, you can visit Kijiji’s help section.

How Much Does it Cost?

It is absolutely FREE and should remain that way. It makes money off of advertising and featured Ads. The popularity of Kijiji is increasing by the day. It’s a great way to sell you large ticket items to a large local customer base.
